About Margaux
Margaux Zion is both a Direct and Interactive Marketing Student at the Fashion Institute Of Technology, and a Social Marketing professional.
Margaux develops digital media engagement strategies and branded content for luxury products, media properties, and special events, utilizing the latest in new media interfaces. She is also an educator, and develops training programs to attune teams to new social technologies.
Her corporate experience serving e-commerce customers has uniquely defined her professional skill set in Consumer Marketing. Currently serving as a brand ambassador for a global cosmetics giant, Margaux intakes real-time product inquiries and converts them into customer purchase decisions, achieving bottom-line Web site revenue and conversion goals.
Margaux is an enthusiastic member of New York’s most popular Tech and Direct Marketing organizations, and regularly attends lectures, discussions, conferences, and think tanks. There, she familiarizes with the leading-edge technology and development projects that connect, educate, and captivate internet communities.
Exercising her artistic edge, Margaux has previously worked in sales for several luxury cosmetics brands, and has worked on dozens of industry fashion shows and commercial look books. She also worked in network television, film, and print in both makeup and wardrobe departments.
When she’s not glued to her Tweetdeck feed or Tumblr dashboard on hernew iPad2, Margaux can be found style hunting in SoHo, belting karaoke, [in Japanese] or at her parents’ beach house at the Delaware shore. Notably, she collects dresses, has more makeup than she could ever use, and loves 1990’s pop culture.
